Celebrate what's great

Australia Day Live 08 featured our hotest stars in concert as well as the announcement of the Australians of the Year. Around 35,000 people jammed the lawns in front of Parliament House in Canberra, kicking off the nation-wide celebrations for Australia Day.

The crowd danced, sang and cheered to performances by Ben Lee, The Veronicas, Ricki Lee, Katie Noonan, The Basics, Blue King Brown, Richard Clapton, Goyte, Tripod and Thirsty Merc, with all the action broadcast nationally on the Nine Network.
